Minutes of IC RICH1 HPD column meeting

Monday 19th February 2007

Present: Dave Clarke, Richard Plackett, Trevor Savidge, Gabriel Vidal and Dave Websdale

Ladder Mechanics

All parts at anodisers, anodising complete, need to be collected and shipped to CERN

Cooling Plates

16 cooling plates complete and at CERN

HPD Box

The material for the frame is at IC and machining will start today (19th).
TS reports that the design has progressed to allow the extraction mechanism to provide z axis adjustment.
We need to be aware that the structural material is produced in imperial units.
The patch panels are now positioned closer to the iron shield walls
RP still to provide patch panel drawings

Rail System

We expect the model from Rohan today (19th) as it did not appear on Friday when scheduled.
TS will check it fits within the current model.
Some confusion as to whether a new model or just new drawings will be sent
We expect it will then go straight to manufacture.

GE door support pieces

DC reports that these will be substantial pieces of aluminium.
Material will be ordered when time permits.
